ZACH LAPPING -
Director of Acquisitions & Asset Management
Zach Lapping brings over a decade of experience working with some of the most reputable real estate firms on the West Coast. At Equinox Hospitality he focuses on both acquisitions and asset management.
Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Lapping served in lead acquisitions roles at Western National Group, Pacific Urban Residential, and Prometheus Real Estate Group, where he managed the execution of over $400 million in value-add transactions and assisted in the oversight of a $2.3 billion development pipeline.
Mr. Lapping graduated with honors from the University of Southern California, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Finance. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group, the Belden Real Estate Club, and is a Licensed California Real Estate Broker.
ADAM SULEMAN -
Principal & Executive Vice President
Adam Suleman currently serves as a Principal and Executive Vice President for Equinox Hospitality with much of his career background focusing on real estate acquisitions/investments and extensive hotel operational experience from his time with Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ W Brand. Moreover, he has been a repeat guest speaker at hospitality and business programs in the Bay Area, such as San Francisco State University and the University of San Francisco. He is also a registered broker with the Department of Real Estate in California.
In the December 2014 issue of Hotel Business Magazine, Mr. Suleman was named as one of 2015’s eight rising stars in the hotel industry. In 2024, Mr. Suleman was awarded the prestigious Beacon Award in New York City which is sponsored by the Ellis Island Honors Society.
Outside of the hospitality industry, Mr. Suleman’s group also invests in other real estate classes such as multifamily, assisted living, work-force housing, land, retail etc. Mr. Suleman serves on the Board for Pathways for Kids, a San Francisco-based charity focused on assisting inner city children and young adults. He has been with this organization for about 10 years. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Grace Cathedral School for Boys in San Francisco. Lastly, Mr. Suleman serves on the Board for Hotel Business Magazine, which is one of the largest hospitality publications in the United States and worldwide.
Mr. Suleman graduated from Santa Clara University (earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics). He also studied international business at Imperial College in London in 2005 as well as completed a certificate program for Cornell in Hotel Real Estate and Asset Management.
